Kindergarten Reflection

In Kindergarten I got better at helping and being kind.

I learned how to write and read.

I am most proud of making friends.

End of Year Reflection

I don’t want to be a fighter jet flyer anymore I want to be a collector. There are lots of different kinds of collectors but I want to be a Lego collector. Sometimes old Legos can cost $100. I learned how to write letters in our letter books and the rainbow colors at the beginning of the year. Blue is my favorite. I really liked learning about animals because there’s still so much to learn about them. Beach day was my favorite day because we got to swim in the pool.

Self Portraits

The first one is missing eyes and mouth and feet and hands and ears. The orange one is a bit better except his hands need to be pointing out and he’s missing hair and eyes. This one is a bit better than both of them. It is missing it’s feet and it’s ears. It has hands though and a better body and eyes and nose and mouth and also hair. The last one looks better than all of them because it has hands and feet and hair and a face, but no ears. I got better because I’ve been practicing and seeing what is the problem so I could fix it.

My Daddy

My daddy’s hair is super, super short because he almost shaves every day. I don’t remember what color his hair is, and this is a problem because I don’t remember what color his eyes are either. One thing I can tell you is that he wears glasses like me. He has a beard that’s pretty long, but not too long. He shaves it a little bit to make sure the hairs don’t grow too much. He uses a shaver. His beard feels rough. Daddy is bigger than my mommy. He is strong enough to lift one side of a whole refrigerator, so that’s pretty strong.

Daddy is the boss of two hotels. He has to tell all the people what to do. He has enough people to run the whole hotel. I don’t know how many because I never counted them all. He stays at work until dinner time and sometimes even later. It depends on how much things he has to take care of. He has to wear clothes to make him look handsome and good when he goes to work. The hotels are pretty close to my house.

Daddy has a whole canister full of money, so that’s a lot of money! He gets money by earning it, by doing work. His friends at work give it to him. I’ve seen him get money at a grocery store at a self-check out. It takes your dollars and then gives you a couple of pieces of money. He uses money for his bills and stuff.

To relax, Daddy usually lays down and watches TV. He watches the shows he likes. He watches the Ravens on football. On the TV I see them. I think they try to throw the ball in the hoop. I think you get points by throwing the football into the hoop enough times until you win. I think the winners get a trophy.

Daddy cooks breakfast. He makes pancakes and eggs. He always gives me lots of sugary treats like brownies and jello. My mommy is a better cook because she knows more things and she knows how to make more things than my daddy does.

Daddy and me watch reviews about Lego things. Like robots and other cool stuff. We build lots of cool Lego things, and spaceships and ground walkers and other things that are cool. We go on bike rides together around the block, or to the end of the street and come back. He walks and I ride my bike. My bike is blue and red. I have two bikes!

My daddy is super special because he gave me a birthday present super early. It was the Mega Fame Five that I brought for show and tell.

I love him because he does lots of things with me and for me. He loves me because I am special and I am good.

My Mommy

My Mommy is Megan. She looks like a cooker. Her hair is brown and she has it like a normal person, not like Elsa. Her eyes are blue. When it’s wake up time she puts on make up in her bathroom. She puts it on her lips with a thing like a marker, like chapstick. She uses eye blush too. She puts it with her finger. My mommy is very pretty. She is as pretty as a princess.

Mommy is mostly busy when she does work. She sews fabric to make like a dress. She vacuums downstairs. She also cleans with water and a sweeper. In the kitchen she vacuums. She even has a new vacuum. She does dishes and laundry upstairs. Mommy and Daddy put the clothes away and sometimes when my brother makes his clothes dirty he does his own clothes in Mommy’s washer.

Mommy cooks. She makes cookies and she bakes yummy lunches. She puts ham in our lunches sometimes and sandwiches. She makes chicken bowls and pineapple and oranges for lunch. For dinner she makes broccoli and roasted chicken and turkey. My favorite is broccoli. I like everything she cooks.

My mommy shops at Walmart. She buys broccoli and apples and healthy things. Because they are healthy for your teeth. She buys salad too. I like green salad with ranch. She buys my clothes and when we are very good we might get a toy.

Mommy’s favorite restaurant is where the chef’s cook at your table. My Daddy is not very good at catching food that the chef’s throw. Everybody laughs. Aunt Kelly can catch it. She is very good. They make food out of a volcano. Mommy eats soup and rice and chicken. She drinks Pepsi and she gets strawberries for dessert.

For vacation, Mommy likes to go to her mom’s. Grandma Mickey’s. She lives at Florida, but it is a long drive. Sometimes we stop and get some food, but we mostly have some food in our car. Mommy likes to talk to Grandma Mickey. They sometimes watch TV. Grandma Mickey has a little pool, but Mommy is too scared and she doesn’t want to get in the pool. And she doesn’t want to get wet.

Mommy snuggles with me and sometimes we watch TV together. My sister doesn’t let me snuggle, she just lays on me. Sometimes Mommy sits on the couch and rests.

My mommy is special because she helps all of her kids. I love her because she is so beautiful. She loves me because I’m so special because I am pretty as a princess just like Mommy.
