The best part about fourth grade was getting two great teachers. They gave us fun projects to do like the Invention Convention. I missed the actual Invention Convention presentation day because I was fishing with my Dad and my sister Hope at Cripple Creek. I still got to present it to the whole 4th grade and Mrs.Estes. My favorite project was when I made the island from the story Call It Courage. It was my favorite project because I got to use play doh and make the sea and the volcano. Another thing that the teachers gave us was amazing books like Ben And Me. Ben And Me was my favorite book because the characters in the book are really funny. I am glad it is summer break but I will miss my friends and teachers.

The next chapter is chapter 13 and this is what happened… The next day, Moxy and her friends were getting ready for the contest and out of no where they see Ox and a kitty doll. They come out and the Kitty says I captured Ox. Moxy said to Ox I told you the Big World was real. Ox said yeah in a weird way and then Moxy started to ask him what was wrong. He said I knew the Big World was real because I’ve been here before. Moxy gasped and she said you lied to me and she started to cry. Ox said the truth was I have been here before and Lou was actually my best friend. I was going to try to run in the contest but the buzzer was beeping and said fail so they threw me into a garbage truck. I created Uglyville since I was really ugly said Ox. Moxy started to cry more and she ran away. Ever since that happened, Uglyville was never the same.

That’s as far as I have read. I hope to watch the movie when I am done reading the book.

They finally found their way out of the pipe. Once they got out of the pipe, they walked a little bit and then they saw a gate and a sign that said “Institute Of Perfection”. They walked in and they saw a lot of pretty dolls and a screen with videos of children getting perfect and pretty dolls. That made Moxy tear up because she really wanted a child. There was a little scanner to let dolls in so Moxy and a few of the other ugly dolls went in the scanner. When Moxy went in the scanner, it broke because she was so ugly. All of the other dolls were staring at her and her friends. Then a boy named Lou who knows all about perfection and fashion walked in and he made fun of the ugly dolls. Moxy didn’t like it so she and her friends joined the contest so they had to learn how to be pretty and to prove the guy wrong.

So now Moxy is leaving town. She is trying to gather people to come with her but right when she was trying to get people, Lucky Bat secretly told people not to go so they listened to him. Moxy, Ugly Dog, and BaBo were the only ones who went because Ugly Dog always follows her and BaBo only went so she would not be sad. After they left, on the way to the Big World, they saw a big pipe. Moxy thinks it leads to the Big World so now she is making them go into it even thought it is going to be hard to fit in. Before they go in, they see there friend Wage. They ask Wage if he wanted to go but he said no because he didn’t want to get dirty.

This weeks book that I have been reading is called UglyDolls: The Movie Novel. This book is about the movie but I have not seen it yet. There is this UglyDoll named Moxy. She has always dreamed of going to the Big World. She has a friend named Ox and he is trying to convince her that the Big World is fake. Each day she would cross out a day on the calendar counting down the days until she went there. She was starting to think that she was never going to get there because she looked back at her calendar and saw how many days she crossed out. The next day she went to their town’s healer whose was a doll named Lucky Bat and she asked him about the Big World. She didn’t understand what he was trying to say so she had an idea to leave on her own with no one giving her directions.

I am still reading the same book this week. It is called Magic Puppy: Snowy Wishes. In this book it is about to be Christmas and Robyn’s Mom wants to go shopping but Robyn and her Dad do not want to go. Robyn also has Storm to take care of even though she is the only one who can see Storm because Storm put magic on her. Robyn has a bag and Storm has to be in it or he will be lost because she is the only one who would be able to find him. They are in New York and Robyn, Storm, and her Dad heard Music so they went closer to find out where it was coming from. It was coming from a Christmas party even though it was not Christmas yet.

This weeks book that I am reading is called Magic Puppy. There is this girl named Robyn and she is going on a cruise with her mom and dad for Christmas. Her dad is always gone on trips because of work and this is her first Christmas with her dad being there. She is seasick and her mom is worried about her and her mom is deciding if she wants to stop and get off the ship. Robyn does not want to get off the ship because she does not want to let her dad down. One day Robyn was in the cabin and she heard a noise and it was a puppy. She thought that the puppy was a stuffed animal but the puppy was real. The puppy’s name is Storm. The puppy helped her because Robyn was dizzy and she almost fell but the puppy saved her with his magic. Storm is trying to hide from a wolf because he is actually a wolf and the bad wolf tries to kill other wolves because he wants to be the pack leader. The name of the bad wolf is Shadow. Storm is disguised because Shadow killed the puppy’s dad and siblings and hurt his mom. Robyn is trying to help him hide.

Once I was making a big, red, white and blue lego helicopter. I wanted it to have a lot of colors so it was really special. I also made a name for the pilot. His name was Carlos. I made it so that it was suppose to fly. One day I tried it outside to see if it worked. I even made a remote control made out of legos so I could fly it around. I turned on the controller and it started to fly. Then the controller stopped working so the helicopter got stuck in a tree. I climbed up the tree to get it down and when I got to the branch it fell. It shattered into pieces. Then I fell out of the tree but I was ok. I had a small purple bruise on my knee. I got tears in my eyes because I worked so hard on it and it was amazing. It was also really special to me because of my hard work. I went inside my brick house to show my mom and she said to go ask my dad if he can help me put it back together and fix the controller. We couldn’t fix the helicopter because a lego piece that we needed broke in half. Carlos got scratches on him from when he fell out of the tree. He broke off the helicopter when it shattered into pieces. It was really bad but then we used other lego pieces and made a smaller, different one that was red and yellow. My dad fixed the controller because he put new batteries in it. The new helicopter worked and I was so happy.

In this weeks book I have been reading The Sisters Grimm. The old lady has to wake the sisters up really early because she has a test for them. There is a boy that can fly in the woods and he has to try to find them in the woods because the sisters (Sabrina and Daphne) always escape so the old lady wants to see if they can actually escape with out anybody seeing them. The boy set a lot of traps on the path to try to find them. He did find them but he had made a really dirty and stinky potion that he tried to splatter them with. He tried to splat them like every two seconds but down the hill they saw the old lad. They were thinking that they only needed to get to the bottom of the hill where the old lady was with out getting splattered. They fell down the hill. They tumbled a lot faster and the boy was still trying to splat them but he never did. He dropped the splatter gun and was screaming that’s not fair. Sabrina picked up the splatter gun and shot him right in the neck and said we won. The boy was mad and really stinky. The old lady was really proud.

Once long ago, 40 years ago, there was this family who lived in a castle. The King, King Joseph the 3rd and Queen Kellie the 3rd with there 3 beautiful kids: Princess Kylie, Princess Hope, and Princess Jacey the youngest. One Day their family had a royal picnic outside with their dog too. Their dogs name is Prince Lewey. The Queen and Princess Jacey Nitted a royal outfit for Prince Lewey For the Picnic. When they were about to put on the outfit for Prince Lewey they felt the ground shake and Prince Lewey jumped up in the air because he is so light. Everybody looked up and they found a dragon coming towards them. Prince Lewey went after the dragon to try to scare it away. But the Dragon was not harmful Princess Hope said. Everybody said ooohhh. Princess Kylie said that makes more sense. The King and The Queen invited the Dragon to the picnic so he could hang out with Prince Lewey. They made a name for the dragon named Lila. Lila was their new pet. The End.
