In Spanish class we have been learning how to identify things in nature. Here is a video I created using iMovie on an iPad to show what I can see, hear, touch and smell in nature.
We also acted out a story about un conejo discovering nature! I was las flores– the flowers!
The best part of me is my mouth. I like my mouth because I eat with my mouth. I talk with my mouth.I taste with my mouth.I read out loud using my mouth. I drink with my mouth. Every night I use my mouth to say “I love you” to my mom and dad.

There are 17 kinds of penguins. They are birds but they don’t fly. They push a penguin in the water to see if it was safe. They live groups to stay warm. They build their nests out of rocks. Would you like to see a penguin?
I like winter because you can drink hot chocolate. I like to play in the snow. I love Christmas and the presents.
I don’t like winter because it is cold. Also you have to wear so many layers. Also it is more hard for me to go to sleep when it is cold.
On Thursday December 13th we rode the bus to the Museum of Natural History. Then I went to the mammals and I went to the squid. Then I went to the humans. I went to the insects and to the tarantula. Next I went to the Hope Diamond it is the biggest diamond that people found. Last I went back on the bus and went back to school.
The name of my sandwich is peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
My ingredients are peanut butter and jelly and 2 pieces of bread.
Directions for making my sandwich:
First get 2 pieces of bread. Next, put jelly on the bread. then put peanut butter on the bread.
Finally I sit at the table. At last I eat it all up!
