In Spanish class we have been learning how to identify things in nature. Here is a video I created using iMovie on an iPad to show what I can see, hear, touch and smell in nature.
We also acted out a story about un conejo discovering nature! I was el pájaro– the bird!
The best part of me is my ears. My ears are important because without my ears I won’t be able to hear laughter. My ears are so nice to have because you can hear an ice cream truck go by. If your teacher is reading, you can hear your teacher read. If my mom tells me it is time to eat dinner, I can hear her with my ears. I can hear my mom say “I love you”.

Spring is when the weather gets warm.

There are 17 kinds of penguins in the world! Penguins are birds but they do not fly. Some penguins lay 1 or 2 eggs. They lay there eggs in rookery nests. Do you like penguins?
I like winter because you can play in the snow and drink hot cocoa too! You can make a snow fort any design you like. And I can catch snowflakes on my tongue.
I don’t like winter because I have to wear a heavy jacket when I play in the snow. I do not like to be inside all the time. It is too cold to go to the beach.
First, on Thursday, December 13th we rode the bus to the Museum of Natural History. Second, I got off the bus and went inside. Third, we took a class picture. Then me and my teammates went to stations. Next, we got in a group to see if everybody was here. Last, we got on the bus to go back home.
I went to the beach with my family for my birthday. At the house it had a hot tub and a pool. Then we played in the sand and played in the water. We went on a walk on the sand. Then we went to the house.
