In Spanish class we have been learning how to identify things in nature. Here is a video I created using iMovie on an iPad to show what I can see, hear, touch and smell in nature.
We also acted out a story about un conejo discovering nature! I was la hierba– the grass!
I chose my eyes. I love my eyes so much. If I didn’t have eyes, I couldn’t see. If I could not see, I would be running into everything. I can see my dog. My eyes let me see my mom and dad.
I went to the kitchen to get some grapes;

I went to the closet to find a mop,

I went to school to learn about bats,
I made a mistake and learned about cats.

Spring smells like fresh flowers.
Planting flowers pink, white, and purple.
Robins in my backyard eating juicy worms
In spring, the sun shines big and bold.
Now birds build new nests and have baby birds.
Green grass on the ground feels good walking barefoot.

I am glad that I do not have 100 dogs.

Do you like penguins? Penguins have 70 feathers in a square inch. There are 17 kinds of penguins. They can’t fly but they can jump. They live below the equator.
I like winter because it snows and I can play in it. We have hot cocoa and it tastes very good. I go sledding and it is fast. Christmas is very fun because you get presents.
I don’t like winter because I have to come inside. It is very hot inside and I don’t like it. I can’t go to bed because it is hot.
On Thursday December 13th we rode the bus to the Museum of Natural History. We went into the Ocean hall. down stairs I saw the birds. I had lunch with my friends. We look some more. We went home on the bus.
I like to have art because we get to take our shoes off. I like music because we play instruments. In foreign language we learn the alphabet and numbers. In P.E. we get to use scooters.
