Writing is an important part of the second grade curriculum. After receiving a prompt, students write their ideas on a “four square” graphic organizer. Using this information, they create a rough draft which they review independently to check for complete thoughts, correct capitalization and punctuation.  Next, students meet with teachers to edit and revise their rough drafts. Finally, students write their final paper, incorporating all necessary edits and revisions. These finished products are published on our blogs.
