In Spanish class we have been learning how to identify things in nature. Here is a video I created using iMovie on an iPad to show what I can see, hear, touch and smell in nature.
We also acted out a story about un conejo discovering nature! I was la zanahoria– the carrot!
My heart is the best part of me. My heart is the thing that keeps me alive. With my heart I can play, speak, sleep, and smell. With my heart I can pump blood and talk to people. My heart is the size of my fist. I love my heart.

Signs of spring are everywhere.
Pink and purple flowers are beautiful.
Robins are red and looking for food.
Ice cream is good to eat in the spring.
Now plants everywhere are pretty.
Green grass is growing and being cut.
I would like to eat 100 cookies.
I would not like to eat 100 cakes.
I wish I had 100 horses.
I am glad that I do not have 100 dogs.
If I had 100 dollars,I would buy a mansion.
In 100 years, I will be 108 years old!
There are 17 kinds of penguins in the world. Penguins are birds but they can not fly. Did you know that penguins have 70 feathers in a square inch. Penguins eat kill and shrimp for food.
I like winter because I get to play in the snow. I like to make snowmen in my front yard and my mom likes them a lot. I also like to play snow ball fight.
I don’t like winter because it is so cold.I also don’t like to put on a lot of stuff on.
On Thursday December 13th we rode the bus to the Museum of Natural History. We went to the hall of ocean animals.We saw the bones of a squid and a wooden monkey.We went back to the bus.
If i were red, I would be cardinal flying in the sky.
If i were orange i would be a pumpkin in my backyard garden.
If i were yellow i would be sun giving people warmth.
If i were green i would be frog but not any frog a poison dart frog.
If i were blue i would be a blue jay laying eggs.
If i were purple I would be violets blooming.
If i were all the colors, I would be God’s rainbow.

Why I think this is my best work because I love Colors.Colors are beautiful.I think you have colors on your shirt. There are colors every where around us.
