In science we are studying simple machines. Simple machines make it so that you can do things easier.We used an arm (which is one part of a seesaw) with weights to measure Newton’s (which is a unit of measurement for force) . If there was one thing that I would change in the science project is that I would make everything heavier. My favorite part was when we went on the seesaw that Mrs. Anderson had brought from her house to the steam lab.

My costume was Harry Potter and it has a cloak that covers my body, a wand that flashes at any sight of movement, a scarf that says Gryffindor on it, and last but not least a wand. The reason I chose Harry Potter was because I have read all the books and My favorite character is Harry. My favorite part about it is the Gryffindor scarf. I trick or treated with my sisters friend’s. I went to her friends house to trick or treat. I got lot’s of candy! I have no idea what I’m going to be for next Halloween. If you didn’t know Harry Potter is a really famous person and the only reason is that his parents James and Lily Potter died by the evil sorcerer Voldemort or as the Wizarding World  says  You- Know-Who. Harry is a wizard who is friends with a poor person that doesn’t like to admit that he’s poor and a very smart girl by the name of Hermione. Harry Potter is sometimes called the boy who lived because he was cursed with the killing curse but his mom saves him and nobody knows how. Now he is trying to survive with Voldemort trying to kill him and Harry Potter isn’t safe.Even with people watching him he’s not safe and also I would recommend you not to read it if you are 1,2,3,4,or 5 because some of the books are really long like 840 pages but I bet you could watch the movies and have lots of fun watching them.

Next week is Thanksgiving,  my cousins, grandpas, and grandmas are coming to my house. The food I eat is just normal day food on Thanksgiving. If I had celebrated with the Thanksgiving foods I would choose turkey. In my family we have no traditions for Thanksgiving. My favorite part of Thanksgiving is when all of the family meet. I am thankful for my awesome guinea pigs[ Caramel and Midnight] and my fabulous family that lives with me[ Mommy, Abba, and Aviva].

In Spanish class I learned expressions with the verb “tener” and made a bus skit. Ask me what “Tengo ocho años” means!

We have been talking about Matter in class and I wanted to share some of our experiments with you. My first experiment was with pop rocks and Coke, and I got the job with pouring the pop rocks inside of the Coke and the balloon blew up! The second experiment was with Vinegar and baking soda and the balloon blew up even faster! With the Diet Coke and Mentos Mrs. Anderson put one packet in and only 5 got in but the Coke still blew up like a volcano! Also I have a note for you! Warning: Never try this at home because your whole house will be Blown up with lots and lots and lots and lots of coke and gas and liquid + your house would smell like Coke for the rest of your house life and you probably would have a horrible time with selling your house that’s covered with Coke and gas and liquid.   Another experiment was awesome because we were trying to make Whipping butter into real butter and we got through all of our class shaking the Whipping butter and then finally it was ready! I had eaten not one , not two, not three, not four, not five or six but I had seven! Seven big crackers full of butter! I loved our experiments so much I would hug them!!

R: I chose this blog because I had so much fun shaking the glass jar and I totally didn’t know that you could make butter with a glass jar. Also, I loved seeing the coke bottle exploding liquid.
