As the burglars are wrapping Max in tin foyle Max is figuring out how to get our of the tin  foyle. After he figured out how to get out tin foyle his phone rang. DUN<DUN<DUN. The burglars thought the police were there but after the found out what it was Max had already escaped. Max ran to the kitchen. He ran kitchen because he was hungry. He also found out how to capture the burglars. I’ll tell you more next time.

My Perfect School

My perfect school would make sure all students have the greatest learning space. I would hire the best teachers. The students would get to play sports with the oldest high school students to learn team work and sportsmanship.  In computer class the students would learn how to code and type swiftly. At lunch the students would get to choose their own meal. Also in the basement, there, would be an indoor playground . On the top floor there would be a giant window instead of a ceiling so high school students can study the stars. Also the students will be allowed to paint the pavement. Therefor that is my perfect school.

Our field trip to the zoo

We did an endangered species project. And we went to the zoo to actually be with our endangered animals. But before I talk about the field trip to the zoo I want to say that it was awesome!

When we went to the zoo we had to go on a 1 hour and 30 minute drive to the Richmond zoo. And we had to stay in a group. There were 3 people in my group including me. The people that were my group were Teagan Arendt, my sister Mia Wielgoszinski, and me.

The first animal we saw was the flmigos, then we saw the giraffe. Mia and Teagan feed the giraffe but I didn’t feed the giraffes. Well I did feed the giraffe but I didn’t put the food on my hand I put it on the wood and it ate like that. Then we had lunch.

After lunch I think we had 30 more minutes to stay at the zoo.

Teagan, Mia, and I were trying to find the llamas but right after lunch are teacher Mrs.Sims told the 3rd grade that we had to go to the bathroom before we left. So we couldn’t get to see the llamas.

And my bus partner was Katie-Beth.

My Endangered Species Project

In Mrs.Sims class we did a endangered species project. My endangered species was a giraffe. The giraffe is a mammal.  It is a mammal because it is warm blooded, has fur and a backbone, drinks its mother milk and gives birth to live young.  The giraffe is yellow with brown spots.  It is 15-20 tall which is twice the height of LeBron James.  An adult giraffe weight 1,750-2,800 lbs.

Giraffes lives in Eastern Africa in open woodlands and grasslands.  They do not migrate for food or for warmth.  Giraffes travel in groups for safety.  They give birth every two years to on only one calf at a time.  The giraffe lives 25 years in a the wild and 28 or more years in the captivity.  They eat leaves and twigs.  Its predator is the lion.  The giraffe can go weeks without water.  It’s camouflage helps it hide from predators.  Its long necks help it grab its food from high branches and its long, strong tongue helps it rips the leaves and twigs down.

The giraffe is vulnerable. The giraffe is vulnerable because of habitat loss and hunting. They are hunting giraffes for their skin. Habitat loss is when people destroy an animals home. The number of the giraffe is declining because of the bad things people do to hurt giraffes. Conservation means something that helps an animal survive in the wild. There are 100,000 giraffes left on earth. There are things called reserves being established to help protect the giraffes so their populations will increase.  There are also strict laws so they will not be hunted.

Fun facts – their tongues are purple and are 18 inches long.  They watch for danger from up high and they have excellent eye sight.

R: I chose this blog because I enjoyed learning how to make powerpoints. I loved learning about the giraffe and using different materials to find information.

In third grade we have been learning about the three branches of government. One of the three branches of government is Judicial branch of government. The Supreme Court is in the judicial and is the highest court. Nine Supreme Court justices serve for life (or until they retire or pass away).

Another branch of government is legislative. In the legislative branch they make laws. When they make laws the President of the USA has to check it and if he likes the law he will make it a real law.

The last branch of government is the executive branch. The head of the executive branch is the President of the USA.When you are elected you must be 35 to become the president. In war the president is called the commander in chief because he or she is in charge of the armed forces.
