This week I read Middle School: Master of Disaster. It is about Jimmy and all of the characters in James Patterson’s kids series like Rafe Katchadorian, Jamie Grimm, Jacky Hart, Max Einstein, Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez, Pottymouth and stoopid, and Bick Kidd. This story takes place on the national mall in Washington DC, and at the W.A.S.P. (Washington Association of Special Permits). When Jimmy puts on a show on the mall, he accidentally puts the wrong time on the permit and so the event will only go for one hour. so jimmy and Rafe race to the W.A.S.P. as fast as they can. they manage to file a new permit, but they don’t think they can make it back, but then Maximum ride lands in front of them and flies to the national mall with Rafe and Jimmy on her back. During the whole fiasco, Every character tells a story that’s not in their book(s).
I love that this book takes place somewhere we’ve all been. It makes it fun to read about. Have you read the Spy Kids series? They, too, take place around Washington, D.C., and some of them are in New York. I think you would enjoy them. Great summary!
