The first thing that I can remember is when the class went downtown as a field trip. It was fun to learn about  my town’s  history.  When school was cancelled, I hated not being able to talk to people. So I loved doing the parade for Mr. Evans because I got to see and talk to people. As you know I am very social so it is very hard not seeing you every day. I miss you all very much and I hope you and your families  are okay. I am happy we do Zoom meetings and get to see each other every once in a while. I also loved reading A Wrinkle in Time. Another thing I liked about fourth grade was getting to watch a movie in school.

Once there was a Lego pilot called Theodor, He was testing a helicopter called The Diver when a Frisbee crashed him in the forest next to the secret Lego town, when his plane crashed it’s tail broke Theo called a rescue team and he fixed the tail well he waited. Well he looked for the rebuild book he checked the location device. As he  climbed out  with the rebuild book he heard  a faint meowing and went to find the source, the  source was a kitten! He played with the kitten before realizing he would miss the rescue team. He picked up the nameless kitten and ran to the crash just in time to find the rescue team.

When Theo got home he and his family named the tabby Leif after the explorer.

Before the performance I felt exited to do the performance  of Anna’s Super Glasses. I felt exited because the  author was at the performance.

My favorite song was what am I  to do? because you can make a lot of different verses from it.

I played the scraper. I absolutely loved this performance.

My Endangered Species Project

In third grade, Mrs. Sims class, each of my friends have an endangered animal. For  example  Nathan has the lion and Ari has the polar bear.My animal is the Gray Wolf .

The gray wolf is a mammal, a mammal is a warm blooded, fur or haired, animal that has a backbone, gives birth to live young, and has a backbone. An adult gray wolf weighs 90-100 lbs., is 6-7 ft.long, and 2-3 ft. tall. A gray wolf is not just grey it can be tan, grey, and pure black.

A gray wolf can be found in Canada,Asia, and some parts of Greenland . It depends on the color of the wolf to tell where it is supposed to be in rocky, dark forests, or just forests.

A gray wolf can give birth to a litter of 4-7 pups once every year. After 6 months in a den with their mom, they leave the den. Then, they’re mom will teach them to hunt. Then, they join the pack. A gray wolf hunts deer, elk, and moose and a gray wolfs life span is 6-7 years.

A gray wolfs adaptations are to have powerful jaws to grab and rip up its prey, to have wide feet that act like snow shoes, and they’re fur helps them camouflage.

Ranchers put a big threat on wolfs in general. When are world was at a loss of wolfs, more and more elk took out more and more trees. This made birds and beavers start disappearing.

To increase the number of wolves in the wild reserves are being established.  Breeding programs are also being made to increase the population of wolves.   There are strict laws for hunting wolves.  I can help by spreading the news.

Fun facts – Timber wolf is a nickname for the gray wolf. Gray wolves are one of the most successful hunters on earth.  Their howl can be heard over four miles away.

R: I liked this because every one got to make their first slideshow.

The Perfect Tea Party

1

Posted by teagan | Posted in Third Grade | Posted on March 22, 2019

The main course of my perfect tea party would be savory treats, bisects, wraps. Now to me that sounds like a good main course! The side dish would be scones and your own choice  of tea  with sugar cubes. For dessert I would  have a variety of small sweet treats. I will bake it and have it in my back yard.

Also, I would make lunch 4 hours. You can go eat lunch anywhere in the lower school. Do anything in the lower school. So, lunch would be fun.
