This year in French class we did a song exchange! Mrs. Rutil’s class in France enjoyed learning this song from our first grade class so much that they wanted to return the favor to us! Here is a classic children’s song that they sang for us:

To practice learning the meaning of the song, we did several activities in class. For example, we played a matching card game to learn how to say the clothing items that are mentioned in the song.

We also did a relay race outside!

Here is our version of the song, recorded the last day of French class in first grade:

In French class we had “visitors”: paper dolls named Mathieu and Anais! Here is the post about when they visited me:

Mathieu et Anaïs ont passé le weekend chez Tigger. Ils ont vu les lapins qui habitent dans le jardin. Ils ont fait les courses avec Tigger dans un grand magasin qui s’appelle Target.

Mathieu and Anaïs spent the weekend with Tigger. They got to see the bunnies that live in her backyard and also went shopping for clothes at Target.
