When I told the students that it was time for Alexandre and Louise to return to France, I asked them what they wanted to do to celebrate our year together. They very enthusiastically suggested that we throw them a “Going Away Party,” so that is what we did! Last Friday I invited the students to eat lunch in my classroom. We had a dance party and wished Alexandre and Louise happy travels. We also enjoyed some super-sweet cookies! We had a wonderful time hosting them here at FA and can’t wait to see Joe and Jessie back in the USA!

Quand je leur ai dit qu’il fallait renvoyer Alexandre et Louise en France, les élèves ont suggéré qu’on fasse une fête pour célébrer leur séjour chez nous. Le vendredi passé, je les ai invités à déjeuner dans ma salle de classe. On a fait une « Dance Party » et on a souhaité un « bon retour » à Alexandre et Louise. On a aussi dégusté des cookies super-sucrés ! C’était un plaisir de les accueillir ici à FA. On a hâte de revoir nos amis Joe et Jessie !
