This week I read a book called Henry Huggins.  One day Henry was walking home from school and stopped at the drugstore to get a chocolate ice-cream cone.   After, he was on his way to catch the city bus to get home for dinner.  Then Henry ran into a tiny stray dog.  Henry told the dog to go where he cam from but the dog didn’t do anything all he did was sit there and just stare at the ice-cream cone Henry was holding.  Then Henry saw that the dog was was starving  so he took one last lick of the ice-cream cone and threw it into the dogs mouth.  In one gulp the ice-cream cone was gone. It had been devoured by the tiny, little stray dog.  That night Henry took Ribsy home , oh yeah, he named the dog Ribsy.  He asked his mom if he could keep him and his mom answered ask your father.  To that end their will be more next week.

This week I’ve been reading Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh.  Mrs. Frisby is a mouse that is raising four children on her own because her husband past away a few years ago.  One day Mrs. Frisby was walking and suddenly stopped at a big hole.  She slowly crept up to it and looked down in the hole to see a chest full corn and saw some peanuts and she took some back to her house for breakfast.  When she got back her kids were all waiting for her to arive home and she told them what she found and they each got into a single file line and they each kept on coming back to get more food.  Then Mrs. Frisby’s oldest and strongest son named Martin told her that her youngest son Timothy said that he was sick.  Mrs. Frisby came into the room and saw Timothy lying in the bed.  Mrs. Frisby felt his forehead and said he has a bad fever and that they were going to go have to see Mr.Ages.  To that end their will be more next week.
