Reflections of Fourth Grade

This writing will be about my memories of fourth grade.  First of all if I was to have a favorite day it would be Revolutionary Day because we got to dress up as the people back then and Russel , Luke and I played war at recess.  This summer I will miss Mr. Evans’ and his awesome puns and poop jokes because they always made me laugh.  This year my favorite subject was P.E. because I like to run around and I loved the games that Mrs. Wimble had planned for us.  If I was also to have a favorite project this year it would be building Mafatus Island that he crashed his boat on.  For me I think the most challenging part of fourth grade was the projects but once I did one or two it got easier and easier as they went on.  My favorite book this year was Harriet Tubman because I like learning what happened in the past.  Last of all if their were to be a theme song for this year I would just pick the whole entire alphabet.

I Wish My Teachers New

I wish my teachers new that kids want to take off their shoes off after recess to stretch their toes.I also wish they new that kids also want five hour recesses so they get exhausted for this next one.  That next thing is that some people like me want nap time back because they just get tired during the day like I do. I also wish they new that kids don’t want homework they just want to come home and relax maybe by watching TV.  The last thing is I wish teachers new that for school kids want their favorite special every day of school. To That End I wish my teachers new those five things.

One day I went to the park with my friends Jack , Michael , Jackson , and two brothers Sam and Luke.  We were playing in this bamboo forest and then these kids came and started to yell and push us around when we did nothing to them.  I new shoving them away wouldn’t help the fight so I just told my friends to just ignore them and walk away and then we tried they pulled me back but my brother Sam shoved a kid away from me and we ran.  My friends and I did not no what to do so we just played some basketball and it was Jack Luke and I on team  and Sam Jackson and Michael team.  After thirty minutes the bully’s  came back but our parents were there so they didn’t pick on us.  When we thought they weren’t looking we ran back to the bamboo forest and started playing there again , but one of them saw us and they came over and were about to shove us until my mom came over and sat down and the kids just ended up leaving the park.  Therefore, if you ever get in a fight just walk away.

This week I read Diary of a Wimpy kid Roderick Rules.  The main character Greg said that he had the worst summer of his life last  year and Im about to tell you why.  Last summer Greg had to do swim team which he was very upset with his dad for signing him up for it because Greg knows for a fact that he hates it.  Greg said that swim team was even worse then school because his school starts at eight and his swim team started at seven thirty so when he was done with swim team he felt like he wanted to go back to bed.  The next day Greg had a swim meet and lets just say it did not go as Greg planned.  So when the gun shot everyone Greg was facing dived in and Greg just sat at the bottom of the pool because he was more afraid of a bullet in the back then winning this race.  To that end Greg actually won the race because he had a team mate who made it to the end for him.

This week I read a book called Henry Huggins.  One day Henry was walking home from school and stopped at the drugstore to get a chocolate ice-cream cone.   After, he was on his way to catch the city bus to get home for dinner.  Then Henry ran into a tiny stray dog.  Henry told the dog to go where he cam from but the dog didn’t do anything all he did was sit there and just stare at the ice-cream cone Henry was holding.  Then Henry saw that the dog was was starving  so he took one last lick of the ice-cream cone and threw it into the dogs mouth.  In one gulp the ice-cream cone was gone. It had been devoured by the tiny, little stray dog.  That night Henry took Ribsy home , oh yeah, he named the dog Ribsy.  He asked his mom if he could keep him and his mom answered ask your father.  To that end their will be more next week.

This week I’ve been reading Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh.  Mrs. Frisby is a mouse that is raising four children on her own because her husband past away a few years ago.  One day Mrs. Frisby was walking and suddenly stopped at a big hole.  She slowly crept up to it and looked down in the hole to see a chest full corn and saw some peanuts and she took some back to her house for breakfast.  When she got back her kids were all waiting for her to arive home and she told them what she found and they each got into a single file line and they each kept on coming back to get more food.  Then Mrs. Frisby’s oldest and strongest son named Martin told her that her youngest son Timothy said that he was sick.  Mrs. Frisby came into the room and saw Timothy lying in the bed.  Mrs. Frisby felt his forehead and said he has a bad fever and that they were going to go have to see Mr.Ages.  To that end their will be more next week.

I Survived The Nazi Invasion

This week I read about the Nazi Invasion.  So, there was a twelve year old boy named Max Rosen and he lived with his little sister Zena.  They were struggling for food after the Nazis invaded there small town.  There dad got token away from them by the Nazis and they haven’t seen him since.  Max and Zena were walking down the dusty street when two Nazi soldiers came walking by Max and Zena quickly hid  in a gutter as the to men walked by.  Max hated the Nazis he wanted to spit at them  and he even squeezed his wrested together because of how badly he wanted to punch them.  That night Max’s little sister saw a robin caught on the barb wire surrounding the whole town.  Then Max saw out of the corner of his eye a raspberry bush then Zena spotted it as well.  They both went darting toward it and then Max stretched his arms out as far as they could and was a few inches to short.  Then he looked down at the ground  and saw that their was just enough room to fit under the barb wire fence.  So Max slowly slipped under the barb wire fence and grabbed a hand full of raspberries and threw one to his sister and she popped it into her mouth and her face lit up.  To that end, that was only half of my book there is more just warning you.

Once there was a guy named Gary who was a excellent pilot.  One day Gary was flying in the park in his plane enjoying the nice fresh breeze on his face and then suddenly his controls shut down and Gary’s plane started to go down.  Gary was heading for a ditch but he turned his plane to a nearby tree.  He was heading straight for the tree but then his left wing ripped off the plane Gary wasn’t heading for the tree anymore he was now heading for a lake.  Gary safely parachuted out and his plane went down into the lake at 10:00 a.m. at a tiny abandoned park.  Gary was scared and he didn’t care about the plane all he cared about was his life and his head because that popped off when he was parachuting down.  To that end, Gary found his head and his plane still lays at the bottom of the deep, dark, blue lake.

So far in my book the kid named Marc is getting bullied at his school and his uncle came back from the Navy and was going to visit them for the summer.  Marc had to do a work out with his uncle Jake and he didn’t really want to but if he didn’t want to get picked on anymore he’s going to have to so he could get stronger and stand up for him self. That night he was dreaming of a double cheeseburger with a large fry with a chocolate milk shake and as soon as he was about to bite in to the double cheeseburger he heard to giant trash can lids slamming together and when he woke up he saw his uncle Jake standing there waiting to go train him.  After their training Marc was kind of glad they worked out and he went to breakfast with his mom and uncle Jake.  After a few days of training Marc got used to waking up early and working out with his uncle so Therefore, that is my amazing book I read so far.
