We had a pretend tour of Rome, Italy. One place we stopped was the Collosseum. At the Colloseum there were gladiator battles. Then back at the classroom we made shields and made the turtle formation.Mrs. Llufrio threw paper balls at us as arrows. We had to use our shields to block them. After that we dressed up as Romans and ate grapes, bread with olive oil,fig newtons (as figs), and drank pomegranate juice. My favorite part was when we ate like Ancient Romans because it was fun to eat like people all the way back in B.C.

I’ve made three resolutions. The first one is that I want to get better at soccer. My family is likes to be outside a lot, so I could practice with my parents. The second one is to get better at chess. The reason I like chess is because its strategic. I could play against Leo and my Dad. My Dad is better than me so its a challenge to play him. Leo is about just as good as me so its easier. My third resolution is I want to learn how to cook. The reason I want to cook is that I could make sushi which is my favorite food. My Mom’s cook books would help but she has so many, I don’t know which one. How I will make myself to cook is that I can also learn a few things like how to fry a egg from Leo.
