My School Year!

My school year, I feared this Monday would come, the last Monday. I knew I’d have to write a blog about it I just didn’t think the Mondays would go by so fast. Well here you go parents and fellow peers who read my blogs, my end of the school year blog. This whole year has been a roller coaster, one that you can’t see anything ahead of you, one that jerks you side to side, one that throws you upside down, one that has a big drop, one that you only go on with your friends. My friends mean the world to me I don’t think I’d survive this roller coaster without them by survive I mean not throw up. I did a whole lot of things this year all of them had a twist I didn’t expect. I thought that my whole life was going to be predictable as if I was in some fairy tale as if I am destined to be in some book. As it says in Matilda the Musical, “Just because I find myself in this story, doesn’t mean that everything is written for me, if I think the ending is fixed already, I might as well be saying I think that its okay, and that’s not right.” Everyone in this class has taught me I didn’t have to stay in my story. Even though I was NEW this year I felt right at home. Now a few props and credits to: My friends for making sure I strapped in and cheering me on during this ride, thank you mother for getting excited for my blogs every Monday and having an alarm set.(Sorry for those times I didn’t post.) Thank you other parents for reading and commenting, thank you fellow peers who read my blogs and comment as well, and thank you Savannah for helping me recognize we were in the same CYT class a couple years ago, and thank you Savannah again for always being by my side. Again parents your children are wonderful keep raising them the way you do. I’ll uh, see you all soon and um… Goodbye and have a nice summer! I ended that on a good note right? Well I’ll see you all (Type to you all.) next year!

R: I like this blog because…This school year was truly a rollercoaster and I will never forget it. I felt so welcome that I forgot that I was about to have a really fast launch on this rollercoaster and I wasn’t scared at all really, I am so thankful for all of my friends that kept me from chickening out and being the scaredy cat that I am inside, they kept me on this ride that went all over the place and that meant a lot to me.

My Fabulous Weekend!

On my weekend I went to Hobby Lobby for the first time as well as And That! and yes there is an exclamation mark at the end of And That! I am redoing my room ocean themed so my mom and I was looking for ocean themed decor. I ended up getting a string art of a steering wheel from a boat. If you don’t know what that is, it is when you take strings on little needles and put them around the needle. Think of rubber bands and making a picture with them if you don’t quite understand. I got a blue bean bag from Home Goods and I purchased a pillow that went with my theme colors. My theme colors are: mint green/blue and some darker types of blue. I haven’t decided yet but I also know I am using gold, and white! I might have gotten some other things but I just don’t really remember I am sorry for the inconvenience. I will also ombre my walls from a light blue to darker blue! On Sunday we went to church. After we did that we went to go shop in Ross. I got a shirt that says “MEOW” on it with a cat’s head peeking out around the “W” and a shirt with Unicorns on it. I also a shirt with a panda saying “Hug me!” which is one of my personal favorites. We went to a Mexican restaurant. I got a Pina Colada, some chicken tenders, as well as fries. It tasted really good! Everything was all well and good until something stung my brother, Andy. It looked too small to be a wasp but too big to be a bee. It kind of looked like a beetle of some sort. My weekend was great and don’t worry we did move inside after Andy got stung and enjoyed the rest of our meal! Thank you for listening! I hope you enjoyed this blog!

Earth Day!

The Earth is struggling to be a clean, happy, and non polluted place because of well, US! Now you are probably saying, “No! I am a good human, I’d never do a…monstrous thing like that! What kind of human does that? Society disgust me these days!” Here is your reality check lets be honest we have all dropped a piece of a straw rapper from a Capri-sun or dropped a piece of paper even I have and I regret that day very, very, very much and we have all thought, “Someone will pick it up!” That is right that person was supposed to be you therefore nobody else ever did. So to help the Earth out because even Earth needs a little help cleaning up! I will ride my bike around the neighborhood and pick up recyclable items/trash if they are trash I will put them in the nearest trash bin if they are recyclable items I will put them in a recycling bin. Now take a moment to close your eyes and think of what you can do for the Earth. Take a deep breath through your nose, what? You smell something…awful? I can tell you exactly what that is the smell of fumes from labor trucks giving off awful smells from what is either churning in that truck. Try to think up away for those trucks to stop giving off fumes and try to make signs to recycle and don’t litter and look at something before you throw it away, think to yourself and say, “Am I able to reuse this in some sort of way?” Thank you so much for tuning in have a wonderful day and an even better Earth Day!

My Spring Break!

On my spring break I went to Disney World! It was really fun, you probably already know that but let me get into some details. First we went to Magic Kingdom we rode lots of fun rides for instance all of the three “mountains” that includes Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad Mountain. It was my first time going on Splash Mountain, Allie, Andy and I ( Allie and Andy are my siblings) wanted to stick together there was a seat for three in the back of a cart that was made to look like a log that was getting ready for departure we got soaked! The biggest drop on Splash Mountain is fifty feet long but it is barely scary. I don’t fit in the lap bar for Big Thunder Mountain so I have to hold on for dear life! You see, there is this thing called air-time this means that sometimes whenever there are tiny hills, or big hills once you go down them sometimes you are out of your seat and in the air for a little bit of time hence the name: Air-time. On Space Mountain there are two tracks, one does more turns then drops the other does more drops then turns. The turns make me sick so I like the drops more. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is drops and turns but they are not turns that make you sick. We waited seventy minutes also known as a hour and ten minutes for about fifteen jokes just Allie, Andy and I  waiting for what seemed like two months! Thank you for tuning in to my blogs! Have a wonderful day!

My Winter Break

On my winter break (Which seemed very long because I was sick from school for a whole week because I had Bronchitis) I saw the movie, The Greatest Showman it is a very good movie I recommend you, you the reader to go see it. I can’t get over how great it is! I also saw my brother and sister (I took a break this show) in The Lion King Jr. I played a game of card with my dad (specifically speed) If you don’t know what speed is you are basically playing Solitaire but you are racing against another person, if you don’t know what Solitaire is I’m sorry I don’t have time to explain it to you go look it up. I made a YouTube video with my sister you should go check her our her channel is AllieKGLifestyle. I watched Everybody Loves Raymond a few times and watched Get Smart while I was sick. Overall my winter break was pretty fun (except for the sick part) I can’t wait to go to to Disney World in spring break!

My Favorite S.T.E.M Fair Project

My favorite S.T.E.M fair project was called “Do You Have The Patience?” The experiment had two choices a marshmallow would be placed in front of you the supervisor would give you two choices, you could either eat the marshmallow now or you could wait an unknown amount of time and get another one. She did the experiment herself and calculated if the  boys waited the most, if the girls waited the most, if everyone waited the longest, if nobody waited or even if they didn’t eat any at all! The experiment interested me very much if I were one of the people doing the experiment I would not even be suspicious of what they were doing I would just be glad to be part of it. By the way all of the projects were great this one just caught my eye but all of them were well formatted, presented well, had great discussions and were all planned perfectly! I am very lucky to have been a part of this!

My Holiday Break!

On My Holiday Break I went on a Carnival Cruise it was different from the Disney Cruise but we had already went on all four of the Disney one so we tried something a little different. On the Carnival Cruise they did not have tube slides like the Aqua Duck or the Aqua Dunk it was more of a chill kinda fast slide depending on your position, something that was similar about these two ships is that at every restaurant they dance but on Disney they dance on the floor, on Carnival they danced on mini tables! Something different between these two is that on Disney your waiter or waitress is the same waiter or waitress at every restaurant.

I enjoyed this vacation!
